A place full of memories

If my memory serves well, Bino's used to have dozen of branches across greater Vancouver area. What I heard was it hit really bad at the economic blown in 98, and now the last 'surviving' Bino's is the one near Joyce station.

You may think, Bino's the old, crappy restaurant? Well, as matter of fact, this is in my "frequently visit" list. Have you ever think about the little cafe, where you always grab your breakfast, what it matter is not the food itself, but on the other hand is the familiar faces inside, the warm welcome when you step in or even that pretty lady who have her muffin at the very same chair on each day?

Yes, this is the "table" I'm talking about.
(May someone can tell me, why almost 90% of my visit, the server will lead me to the same table in the past 20 years? Will that possibly a sign of the winning numbers of next 649?) lol

As we sit down, we just do a mindless selection which is on the glass, "All day breakfast for $3.99". With choices of sausage, bacon, toast or pancake, it also serves with two eggs. It is a great deal on this low price, eh?

My choice with 3 sausages and scramble egg

I wouldn't say the sausage is heavenly tasty, egg are cooked at perfection, pancakes are thick and soft. This is a regular, decent food which just perfectly 'wake up your body.
My wife's : 3 bacons and overeasy eggs

Sometimes, I notice people around me tend to concentrate too much on the quality of food, but forgetting about food suppose to mean. It is nice to have a mind-blowning dinner with exceptional good wine from now and then, but hey, that just way too much if you are doing it on everyday, every meal or every minute. Lets not forget what we are before your foodie journey begin. And let me tell you, these regular food give you more memorable moments than those you have in ahigh class restaurant.

One last thing, coffee here are quite mild, but still, it will do its job.

While you are enjoying the muffin, harsh brown or latte in your hand, give a smile to it because it always gives you the spirit and energy to get through another hard working day. Cheers! ^^

Good : some good deal like all day breakfast, burger in here are not bad
Bad : may feel boring if you visit 5 days a week, only one waitress is attending

  1. Bino's! Nice. Memories of post-clubbing grub at the Bino's on West Broadway.
